Description

Alright guys, Im just going to write a short infosheet for this one. There is simply too much stuff to write if I use my original format.
-------------------------------------------------

The GT-M1 'Mjonlir' Land Fortress, or dubbed 'The Super Heavy Tank' to some who had experience with it before, is the Interstellar Republic of Singapore's moving land fortress for the purpose of bringing heavy firepower on the enemy in times of attrition style battles where faster mobile forces do not seem to work in the field. Designed by the secretive Beta Division, the Autarch's personal science division, and under limited production by Krushov Industries and TRD Facilities, the Mjonlir was pressed into service as early as 2076 when it was first designed to take on the Monarch Invasion forces. Production delays and manufacturing problems arose and a small batch of GT-M1s were only completed right after the war with the Monarch. Seeing that they should not be wasted, Central Command distributed the tanks to the outermost planets of the Outer Rim as well as the Sol System and its neighbours to strengthen the military power resent in those locations. Refurbished and upgraded, the GT-M1 soon saw limited service in deterring the Chasan forces. After pushing back the Chasans, one GT-M1 was deployed in the invasion of the Chasan Dominion's homeworlds, using its great power to lay waste to entire fortifications, bases and cities whole with the 700mm Thermonuclear Shells it was issued with. Time passed after the aftermath of the Chasan Conflict and the GT-M1s were about to be upgraded with additional weapons as well as its supposed new 700mm Railgun capable of delivering Plasma Rods when the Nagrons first attacked the Second Outer Rim planets. A few GT-M1s were there to deliver long-range firepower but they succumbed to the Nagion anti-matter energy weapons, though they held on for the longest period of time compared to other smaller IRS tanks. After the horrendous war, the GT-M1s received newer and much more stronger armor while fitted with their promised 700mm Railguns and their Plasma Rod munitions. The Mjonlir fortresses remain to this day, rarely seen or even used in combat, but remains a great legend among the officers and veterans who had seen it in action during the major wars and conflicts it served in. The successes of science and innovation allowed the creation of more efficient Tomatak reactors and thus was born the 2 SNEC MCD-Mk3 Tomatak Reactors that powers each Mjonlir and satisfies its large energy requirements.

The GT-M1 has numerous weapons but the most powerful weapon of them all is the 700mm Railgun. Capable of delivering extreme long-range firepower into the heart of the enemy formations, the Mjonlir can engage and destroy entire ranks of enemies whole or take out an enemy base with just a few shots. This is also possible by the use of highly sophisticated Plasma Rods, which are basically protected canisters containing hot plasma inside along with the detonator, HE Munitions and an electronic suite to guide the Rod if needed. When a Plasma Rod detonates, hot plasma is released violently on the affected area, melting through every material it touches. Enemy vehicles or infantry caught in its Area of Effect radius will be completely obliterated. Recently, the Mjonlir also sport a Plasma Cannon at the front, enabling it to quickly engage enemies in front, sparing the 700mm Railgun for more important uses. Aside its great variety of weapons, the GT-M1 also sports numerous firing ports for garrisoned infantry to fire from as well as fortifications on its thread pieces where infantry can also position themselves in. The various Missile Pods also complement the Mjonlir's long-range capability, providing a bombardment alternative while the 700mm Railguns recharge after a shot.

Speed wise the Mjonir is very slow but its sheer firepower and durability make up for it. The Gigamite Composite can ignore small arms and heavy calibre fire, shrug off explosive projectiles and handle great amount of energy-blasts such as lasers, plasma and microwave beams. The energy shielding and Kinectic Barrier Generators provide extra protection for the Mjonlir, especially against anti-matter blasts. While slow, the extreme weight of the Mjonlir can become an advantage at times, crushing smaller enemies under its threads, saving the much needed energy for more potent threats that it would face in battle.

The Mjonlir will usually be utilized as a long range siege weapon by just positioning it somewhere far away on a high vantage point but the durable armor allows commanders who prefer to engage enemies up close to simply charge the land fortress deep into enemy lines, blasting its way with no regard for anything as it leaves a trail of crushed, burning metal husks and horribly disfigured enemy soldiers.
