Background: Developed in the 2050s as a standard army jeep with the all-terrain capability needed to traverse the desert sands, the Guardian is a Light Attack Vehicle in service with the former African Union and now Interstellar Republic of Singapore. Though mainly used for reconnaissance, it can also be used as a hit-and-run vehicle as well as a transport car to ferry a squad around the battlefield quickly. Commanders and officers also prefer to utilize the Guardian LAV for transport over any luxurious cars since the LAV is much more reliable and well-armored, and symbolizes their modesty and willingness to avoid indulgence in the unnecessary. The Guardian has seen through the European and American plains and towns during the U.N War, and after receiving a few more upgrades it went on to serve off-world in the hands of the first batches of colonial security against rebel forces. The Guardian would also see the 2070 Alliance Invasion and the Nagron War. From its birth until now, it has seen a wealth of upgrades, receiving a whole new armor, engines, power plant and design throughout the years. The LAV is in service in almost all branches of the Military as well as in the hands of local police divisions and Colonial Security militia forces.

Roles and Tactics: Like mentioned above, the Guardian is mainly used by scouts for reconnaissance missions, venturing into unknown and hostile territories to gather information about the surroundings and relay them back to the commanders for evaluation of tactics. While it may seem like a small task, it is nevertheless risky and of utmost integral to the success of the operation, as a Guardian may be detected by enemy patrols and be destroyed quickly, and the information they gather determines whether or not the commanders are able to coordinate an attack successfully without sustaining heavy casualties or even win at all. However, the good speed and all-terrain capability of the LAV allows it to take the role of a small-size transport vehicle to carry a squad about the area, serve as a military ambulance to ferry the wounded to the nearest hospital or as a hit-and-run vehicle armed with rocket launchers and autocannons to harass and ambush enemy armored units and infantry squads effectively.

Armament: The Guardian is, by default, not armed with much. It only comes a single machine gun mounted on the roof for the gunner to man it against hostile infantry and lightly-armored vehicles such as civilian cars and low-flying reconnaissance aircraft. However the Guardian can change its weaponry, able to arm itself with an array of weapons available for use such as Miniguns, Anti-Armor Rocket Launchers, Anti-Aircraft SAMs, Flamethrowers and Laser Cannons.

Armor: Constructed out of thick but lightweight Bryomite layers placed in a sloping fashion, the Guardian is able to take small arms fire and deflect shrapnel, and take a rocket or two directly to its chassis. The V-shaped underbelly also allows it to not blow up when it drives over a mine, at the very least the blast would flip it over and incapacitate some of its mobility. The thin layers of Aegis layers prevent energy blasts such as lasers and plasma to burn through and penetrate through the armor.

Mobility: Fast and agile, the Guardian is able to redeploy at the blink of an eye and effectively evade enemy barrages and rocket fire. It can travel at top speeds of 110 KPH on roads, and 60 KPH on rough terrain. The shock absorbers and excellent wheel suspension systems allows the Guardian to smoothly travel over obstacles and uneven ground easily.

Power Plant and Engine: The Guardian is powered by an Etherium Ion Generator which utlizes photosynthetic alien bacteria to produce electricity by converting some of its glucose stores into electrical charges. The ETM-02 uses some of that electricity to run the Motor, which will then allow the vehicle to move. The ETM is a reliable piece of engineering well-liked by mechanics and the crew alike.
