IRS Poster

Long time I hadnt drawn posters and my characters, so I decided to try and draw one. Supposed to look like a loading screen and all.

Not the best I could do, but Im quite okay with this, the Autarch looks a bit retarded though (well...)

ON TO SYMBOLISM!

The two Autarchs, left is Michelle and right is Ayman. Both are technically supreme rulers of the Interstellar Republic of Singapore and being the first pair of Autarchs, they have seen quite a lot of changes over the years...from the time they were children living peacefully in their island homeland to the wars that followed and the global revolution that brought all of Earth under Singapore's new banner, through either destruction or alliances. Earth is shown behind them, and the Singapore flag flutters in the space behind the planet, symbolizing the new position of Singapore as a powerful galactic force from a mere island.

MIDDLE
------------
The small circle you see in the middle is the crest of the Singapore's socio-economic ideology; Socialist Patriotism. The star represents prospects of a Greater Singapore, and the two arrows below symbolize National Duty and Comradeship supporting the greater cause of Greater Singapore. The stripes at the sides are from the IRS war flag and the sword represents a fierce will and desire to protect the nation and destroy the enemy.

Below the crest is a base turret surrounded by sandbags and artillery cannons firing in all directions.

DOWN

The three persons represent their respective Classes in the country. The soldier in the middle is the Military, the left is the worker and he represents the Workforce and the right is a government official and he represents the Government. All three classes work in cohesion to bring a harmonious and prosperous nation, with each generation bringing about a greater nation at each turn. The flag in the background is the IRS War Flag, used by the Military and hoisted in times of war and in the battlefield.
