Description

The Transformable High Aerodynamic Mobility-Fighter, or THAM-F for short, project was initiated just after the development of the 4th Generation GENEVA Autoframes, with much of the technologies and parts created and tested for the 4th Generation also used in the THAM-F project. The concept of a variable fighter jet that can transform into a fighter jet was to give the Air Force and the Oceanic Navy a smaller but highly aerodynamic and mobile Autoframe to engage both aircraft and mechs in the air alike, with its aircraft mode providing greater speed across distances and in mech mode providing anti-mech combat capabilities. A THAM-F can be easily stored in a conventional aircraft carrier or airbases in its fighter jet mode, saving resources and space rather than to build expensive and costly new facilities and units merely to facilitate them which had to be done for the GENEVA Autoframes. But this was done at the expense of firepower as the THAM-F lacks the ability to mount heavy mech weapons to maintain airlift capability.

After the first THAM-F, the M1 Falcon, was showing signs of age, a new THAM-F was needed. Work began on upgrading and improving the M1 Falcon and eventually resulted in the M1A2 Falcon U. Built with a more sleek and aerodynamic frame and fitted with smoother hydraulics and more powerful Plasma propulsion systems, the Falcon U is more agile and faster than its predecessor. It also has a gyroscopic cockpit outfitted with a 'G-dampener' to protect the pilot from injury caused during the middle of a transformation or travelling at high speeds. Like the 4th Generation GENEVAs, it has a Direct Neural Control System piloting OS that translates brainwaves into computer commands to allow the pilot to control the mech as if it is his own body. The Falcon U is highly capable of using its speeds to storm through an enemy force and attack them from all unsuspecting angles, either with its Photon Rifle or Beam Sabers.
