Description

Continuation of the first weapons sheet, this time featuring the shotguns currently in use by the Military.

Aside the revamps, I will be making information changes to the OCS-03. It is no longer the main use shotgun issued to the army. The OCS-01 instead fills this role.
----------------------------------------------------------------
1. OCS-01 Mainline Shotgun

The OCS-01 is the standard-issue 12-gauge shotgun used by almost all of the IRS's defence agencies as well as the police and the Armed Forces. Other than having a decent amount of man-stopping power, the OCS-01 is also relatively easy to handle and maintain with the introduction of the 5-round clip and can be stored with not much difficulty. This shotgun is even popular with civilians as a hunting rifle and can be modified into an airsoft rifle for for use as a sporting equipment. Recoil can be handled with ease and the OCS-01 will not be leaving the armories anytime soon.

2. OCS-02 Compact Shotgun

Used by police patrol units, Combat Engineers, Vehicle Crews, Light Infantry and even the special forces, the OCS-02 is a short-barrelled shotgun with a pistol grip as a default meant to be in service with the mentioned units and Divisionates. The shorter length may decrease its maximum range, but at the very least it gives Vehicle Crews and police officers on patrol a compact shotgun that can be easily kept in their respective vehicles while not sacrificing the 12-gauge power of the OCS-02. It still looks intimidating and is also used by anti-riot units to fire blanks, pellets or tear gas canisters to scatter demonstrators.

3. OCS-03 Heavy Duty Shotgun

In an attempt to revive the 10-gauge shotguns, Oracle Industries was approached to design and create that kind of shotgun in the form of the OCS-03. While it is a recent weapon, it has proved its worth in the combat zones of the Monarch and the Chasan Wars as well as the Nagron War as it's heavy-duty 10-gauge shells tore through shields and metal plating with little effort. Many commanders thought that it would replace the OCS-01 as the mainline shotgun but however, its long length and heavy weight which caused sluggish movement to those that wielded it prevented such motive. However the OCS-03 was classified as a Heavy Duty Shotgun and was called out from the arsenals purely for its sheer power. For its size, it has a decent ammunition capacity of 10 10-gauge rounds from a single standard-issue drum magazine. Power Armor units that can handle the recoil and weight of the OCS-03 can effectively use this shotgun to maximum effectiveness.

4. OCS-PDW Special Applications Shotgun

Before the OCS-PDW, the special forces used the OCS-02 as a door-breacher and a weapon used in the dense urban setting. However since it has a low ammunition capacity even with a magazine, the special forces decided to contact Oracle Industries and get them to make a shotgun with the design of the old P90 PDW in mind. Oracle Industries happily obliged and created the OCS-PDW. The OCS-PDW, like the P90, uses a top rectangular magazine that gives it a large ammunition capacity of 20 12 Gauge shotgun shells per magazine. The OCS-PDW is short and very compact though the lack in barrel length makes the OCS-PDW not very great for long-range engagements. Other than the Special Forces, this shotgun is also in service with various defence agencies, police units and some vehicle crews of the military.
